In this introductory course, you’ll learn how to get intimate with your skin...naturally! We’ll discuss the various uses of these plants and how they can easily be added to any skincare routine. We'll also dive into skin physiology to understand our skin's important layers, natural skincare recommendations for common skin types, kitchen pantry items used in skincare, and best practices for making skincare products. We'll wrap up this course with a series of hands-on demonstrations: making facial masks, steams, scrubs, and toners.
Based on the Japanese word “qi” or universal life force, Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a healing technique that helps to balance the body’s energies and promote health & wellness. Reiki is used for anxiety relief, stress reduction, pain relief, and relaxation. After a Reiki session, one usually experiences a greater balance in their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual states.
